In elementary school, there was one other left-hander in my grade level. We ended up in the same class many times throughout our stay at David Gourley Elementary. The popular desk arrangement was pairing and that meant Tyler and I would inevitably be sitting together. If we sat by one another then we wouldn't be bumped by a right-handed person. Why our teacher didn't just keep us on the left side of a righty is a question I wish I could go back and ask now. Maybe it had to do with scissors since there was usually only one pair of left-handed scissors in our classroom. I guess proximity made it easier to share.
Fast forward a couple years...ok a lot more than a couple. My husband is a lover of all things ink. He's discovered fountain pens--any fellow lefties just totally cringe at the thought of fountain pens? I can see the smudged mess now. Before his love of fountain pens, he enjoyed a good gel pen. Nope. Didn't like those either. Still a smudgy mess. No thanks.
Until now.
If you are left-handed and haven't tried these, you should. They are paper mate inkjoy gel pens. I use the 0.5 and they don't smudge! It's a miracle. Definitely my new favorite pen.
